A cheaper way to send to the UK

Japan Post allows registered airmail to the UK. It costs about a 1000 yen or so cheaper than EMS but will also take a bit longer.

EMS takes 4-5 days. Registered airmail can take from 7-14 days. This is all based on customer's feedback. This is because when Japan Post is asked about delivery time, they are very conservative and never give a straight answer. 

What are the advantages of registered airmail ?

- It is still tracked

-It is still relatively fast

- You get text messages from Royal Mail.
