How to buy items on Mercari

Teresa's Toy Store : Step 1 - Go to the Mercari Website

STEP 2 : Enter the keywords in the search bar. They keywords have to be in Japanese. You can use the keywords I created in this page for Beyblades or this page for Pokémon. If you don't know the keywords, please send me message at teresa@teresastoystore.com

STEP 3 : Tick the box to get the active listings only. If you don't, you will also get inactive listings. Inactive the listings are listings that have already been sold.

If nothing comes up, then either all the listings for that keyword have been sold or no one is currently selling the item that you want.

STEP 4 : Click on a listing.

STEP 5 : Check the photos. Many sellers are pretty upfront about the damages / stains / dirt on their items. Please check the photos well because many sellers don't accept refunds / returns.

If you need more photos from different angles or you want more close up photos, please send a message to teresa@teresastoystore.com along with the URL of the listing.

(optional) STEP 6 : Right click and select 'translate to English' if your browser supports translation. Although not all, many sellers write a good description of the item they are selling. The translation may not be perfect but with the translation software's help, you can get a clearer picture of the state of the product you want to buy. Is it used ? Is shipping included? How big is it ?

STEP 7 : Copy the link. If you want to proceed with the purchase, please copy the URL of the listing and paste it to your notepad.

STEP 8 : Copy the price of the item. Although I can do the calculations for you, it will be much faster and smoother if you do it yourself.
